The Brief

A luxury brokerage let down by its website

Sunseeker Brokerage sells some of the most desirable objects money can buy: luxury motor yachts, led by the Sunseeker name, to buyers around the world from its base in London. The website did not tell that story.

The old site was dated and traditional, built to push every enquiry straight to a phone call. A prospective buyer could not explore the detail of a specific yacht, weigh up what was on the market, or learn enough to arrive at that call already informed. For a business whose whole service is defined by quality and prestige, the website was the one place the experience fell short. It read as a visible gap between how Sunseeker Brokerage sells in person and how it showed up online, and it had become a blocker in the buying journey rather than the start of one.

The Approach

Function first, then the luxury finish

We stripped the site back to first principles and started with the structure, a fresh sitemap and wireframes, before a single styling decision. The priority was function. A yacht is a considered, high-value purchase, so the site had to let people find, filter and genuinely understand what was for sale.

To get that right, we looked at how the strongest brokerage and trading platforms present their stock, sites like Autotrader that make a large, complex inventory easy to search and compare. Clear categories, tags and specification breakdowns, obvious calls to action, and a considered path through each journey gave buyers a way to explore yachts in depth and reach an enquiry on their own terms, informed rather than in the dark.

With the structure settled, we refined how the brand came through on screen, sharpening the colour, typography and identity so the site finally carried the calibre of the product. We built the design out page by page with luxury and clear user journeys held in focus throughout, putting the beautiful photography and yachts Sunseeker Brokerage has to show at the centre of the experience.

The Outcome

From blocker, to a successful sales tool

The site now carries the weight of the brand behind it. The visual strength and marketability of Sunseeker Brokerage online match the yachts it sells, closing the gap that had held the old site back.

That has changed how the team uses it. The website has gone from a blocker in the buying journey to a sales tool the brokerage is confident to put in front of buyers, and one it now leads with in outbound marketing rather than works around.

Buyers get a site that is far easier to navigate, with fewer blockers between landing on it and understanding a yacht in detail, so the people who do get in touch arrive better informed and readier to talk.
